The saying
goes "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder". How
much more clichéd can that get. What's more, we disagree - why
depend on what someone else has to say. For us, the image in the
mirror suffices, and is better than good enough.
Sometimes however to give us that extra edge, we look for
accessories and ways to feel better. Dhanbadcity.com is the place
to do it. Whether it's battling the elements, be it the heat, the
cold or the rains OR what our genes have pre-ordained - the hair,
the skin and well the rest of the package, you will find easy to
use tools and tips, that will have you running to the mirror and
bellowing "Mirror mirror on the wall, I am the most
beautiful of them all".

Tips for Make up
Always
moisturise your skin. If you have oily skin, don't think
you can escape the moisturising step! Go in for an oil-free
moisturiser.
No matter how
tired you are, never, ever, go to bed without removing
your make-up.
You don't
have to wear a foundation on a daily basis, but make sure
you use translucent powder. Always carry a compact to
kill that shine.
To avoid
breaking your lashes, curl them before applying mascara,
not after.
Don't use a
water-proof mascara on a daily basis. It's too strong.
Use a lighter, regular mascara.
Before
applying eye make-up, dust translucent powder under the
eyes to catch loose eye-makeup. Once you're done, just
brush off the translucent powder and all your little
kajal and mascara remains will dust off.
Use a darker
tone when you want to conceal something. For example, if
you have a broad nose, use a darker shade on the sides to
cut it's width. Similarly, use a lighter colour if you
want to highlight or enhance something.
Avoid
applying foundation on your eyelids because if you apply
eye makeup after that, it will crack.
Only apply
non-transfer lipstick when you need it to stay on the
entire day. It tends to dry out the lips as it has very
little moisture and is not suited to daily wear,
especially during the winters.
The products
you use are as important as the tools with which you
apply them. Every self-respecting make-up kit must
contain a large brush and a good sponge.
